The NEUSPEED ECU upgrade increases the boost pressure on the turbo to approx.1.4bar (20.4psi) peak, this upgrade also optimizes ignition timing under part throttle and full throttle load, recalibrates the Electronic Pedal Control ( Drive By Wire) for faster and more accurate power delivery and raise the rev-limiter and top speed governor.
California Air Resource Board (CARB) tests concluded that when the Neuspeed Engine Management Upgrade was installed with the Neuspeed P-Flow emission level were within applicable standards when tested using the Cold-Start CVS-75 Federal Test Procedure (FTP) and the Supplemental Federal Test Procedure (SFTP US06) test cycles. Examination of the OBD II system showed the Neuspeed Engine Management Upgrade installed with the Neuspeed P-Flow did not affect OBD II system operation.
As a result, the following intake part numbers are exempt per CARB EO #D-236-11 when installed in conjunction with a NEUSPEED P-Chip Engine Management upgrade:

The K&N drop-in panel filter part number 33.2888 inside substituted for the NEUSPEED P-Flow Air Intake Kit.

Greedspeed is now able to flash program the 2.0T FSI via the OBDII diagnostic port. If you are local, please call for an appointment.
If you are not local, the factory chip is soldered onto the printed circuit board, so your ECU must be reprogrammed at Greedspeed's California headquarters.
