Neuspeed's short shifter for the cable-shift Passat, A3 VR6 and Corrado models is a completely new shift mechanism that replaces the one currently mounted in your center console. Rather than modify your existing shift housing, Neuspeed supplies a new VW shift housing with the Neuspeed short shifter already pre-installed.
Notes :
Includes an entirely new cable shift housing with shortened throw of approx. 30-40%. Professional installation recommended since the exhaust system center pipe and surrounding heat shield must be removed to gain access to the bottom of the factory cable shift assembly.
